IN STEFI'S LIFE

After my studies in graphic design – where my roots still are – I built my forma mentis at frog design, my first work experience in a big digital company. During those years I learned how to effectively develop a strong creative process around digital products, working with a multi-disciplinary team and following each design phase, from in-field reasearch to fully-fledged detailed designs.

Now – actually since 2018 – I'm a happy Milan-based freelancer and I'm  enjoying collaborating with different organizations, design companies and startups.

My dream projects are those where I can start from the brand identity and go through the product definition and the UX&UI, down to the smallest lovely detail inside a specific icon. And if there is the chance to create custom illustrations with my style, I'd be extremely happy.

EXPERIENCE

In 2018, I started my freelance career. What I really enjoy about freelancing is the fact that I can work with different teams, embrace new design approaches and see new work environments.

While collaborating with Huawei MARC – Milan Aesthetic Research Center –, I've been working as a visual designer in the UX team, spanning across all Huawei's consumer products – from new OS concepts to the automotive field, as well as new tablet and desktop experiences.

¶  Fjord, Accenture

September 2018 ⇒ August 2019  |  Milan

I had the pleasure of establishing a very good relationship with the Italian studio of Fjord, working with different teams and for different clients – such as Banco BPM, WeBank, Generali and BPER, mostly in the financial and insurance services. The redesign projects often consisted on building a whole new experience, both UX and UI on app or website.

¶  Digital Team of the Italian Government

March 2018 ⇒ September 2018  |  Milan

During my first freelance commission, I had the chance to design projects for different Public Administration services. I dealt with shaping new platform websites like Developers Italia, Docs Italia and Domicilio Digitale – along with the rationalization of the Italia UI kit design system. I helped with the IO app project, during the first round of beta testing, finishing and realizing the prototype.

During these years I learned what the Design Thinking method is and I learned all the phases around building a digital product. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, I designed different products ranging from cross-platform websites to applications, following the entire design process from A to Z. I worked for clients such as Amicomed, Axa, BancoPosta, Dacadoo, Nespresso, Poste Italiane and Red Cross.

During this summer internship, I designed and delivered all the print, video and web material connected to the 19th edition of Milano Film Festival event.

When I was a post-graduate student I worked on different projects – spacing from brand to web design, from editorial to communication – for clients like Beayukmui, Elle Decor Caffé, Opera Art Exhibition, Pitti Immagine and Poltrona Frau.

During my photography studies in high school, I interned as assistant photographer. I worked for companies like Mukki, Frescobaldi and Shönhuber Franchi, ranging between photo setting (still-life and outdoors), fast post-production optimization, photo editing and retouch.
